Compliments of CharlesWorks website hosting

Java appears to not be supported in your browser!

If no photo appears to the left of this text, it may be that your computer either does not have Microsoft Java Virtual Machine properly installed, inadvertently uninstalled, or not been properly enabled.

If Java has not been properly installed -- or ended up inadvertently being uninstalled as happened to me -- then the information on this page may resolve your problem. This happened to me after loading in Windows XP and doing all of the Windows Updates.

The Microsoft Java Virtual Machine is no longer available from Microsoft directly due to legal wrangling with SUN, however it still can be downloaded at the links below.

Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) build 3805 for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 95/98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0. File size: 5.4 mb.

If you find any of the links above to be inoperative, please and let me know.

Steps to install the Microsoft Virtual Machine:

  1. Download the file using the links above and save it to your hard drive.
  2. Once the file is on your hard drive, execute it. This will load the Virtual Machine.
  3. As the file begins execution, answer Yes to the License Agreement question. Once complete, re-boot your PC.
  4. Once the PC is re-booted you should be set to go.
  5. Test: if you can see the picture above with the water effect (move your mouse over the picture to see the effect), then Microsoft Virtual Machine (MVM) is installed in your operating system.

Hope you found this helpful!
